OCU Meinders School of Business Announces Five Hall of Honor Inductees
Oklahoma City University's Meinders School of Business will honor five local business leaders at the annual Oklahoma Commerce & Industry Hall of Honor luncheon October 24 at the Cox Convention Center. The 2012 inductees are Bill Cameron, recipient of the Chairman's Award; Jane Jayroe Gamble, Outstanding Achievement Award; G. Stephen Mason, Entrepreneurial Spirit Award; Mary Mélon, President's Award; and Russell Perry, Lifetime Achievement Award. Tables and individual tickets are available.
Technology Trends Prompt New Degree Offering
A new degree at Oklahoma City University's Meinders School of Business aims to prepare the next generation of software engineers. Professor Robert Greve, the director of the Love's Entrepreneurship Center and Associate Professor of Information Technology at the business school, said the Software Engineering program is designed to address the rapidly changing industry and its demand in the jobs market.
Governor's Energy Conference Scheduled for October 4, 2012

Enrollment Open for Fall Professional and Senior Professional in Human Resources Program
Classes are now forming for the Professional in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources program at the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University. Classes will be held each Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. from August 29 to Nov 14, 2012. Tuition is $600 plus the cost of the SHRM Learning Kit.
