Energy Leaders to Address Hot Topics at OCU Conference

Renowned energy and enviornmental professor Vaclav Smil and Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm will discuss energy transitions, environmental issues, horizontal drilling and fracturing techniques at Oklahoma City University's next Karl F. and June S. Martin Family Foundation Energy Management Speaker Series. The conference will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. October 4 at OCU's Meinders School of Business, located at N.W. 27th St. and McKinley Ave.

MSB Opens Enrollment for Fall 2011 PHR/SPHR Certification

Classes are now forming for the Professional in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources program at the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University. Classes will held in room 107 of the Meinders School of Business, Northwest 27th and McKinley, each Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. from August 31 to November 16, 2011. Tuition for the 12-week course is $600.00 plus the cost of the SHRM Learning Kit

Enroll Now for Fall Project Management Professional Certification Prep® Course

Classes are now forming for the Fall Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Preparation Course at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business. Fall classes will be held in room 117 of the Meinders School of Business, Northwest 27th and McKinley, each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from September 17 to November 19, 2011.

Report by Steven C. Agee Economic Research & Policy Institute Shows Oil & Gas Industry's Economic Impact

A newly-commissioned study from the OERB examines the effects of the oil and natural gas industry on the state economy. Conducted by the Steven C. Agee Economic Research and Policy Institute at Oklahoma City University, the economic study shows one out of every $3 of Oklahoma's gross state product is tied directly or indirectly to the oil and natural gas industry.
