Classes are now forming for the Summer Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Preparation Course at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business. OERB Adds Energy Scholarships at OCU's Meinders School of Business
Oklahoma City University's Meinders School of Business will offer $35,000 in new scholarships thanks to funding from the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board. Scholarships will be available to students from Oklahoma entering the master's programs in energy management or energy legal studies or the Petroleum Land Management Certificate Program.

Dr. Steven C. Agee will become dean of the Meinders School of Business in January, after ending his tenure as chairman of the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City at the end of December.

A newly-commissioned study from the OERB examines the effects of the oil and natural gas industry on the state economy. Conducted by the Steven C. Agee Economic Research and Policy Institute at Oklahoma City University, the economic study shows one out of every $3 of Oklahoma's gross state product is tied directly or indirectly to the oil and natural gas industry.
