Members of the local business community are invited to learn about energy opportunities in the Russian Federation during the next Meinders School of Business Lunch on the Lean with the Dean at Oklahoma City University.
“The Energy Market in the Russian Federation” is free to the public and will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. February 27 in the Gardner Conference Room at the Meinders School of Business, located at N.W. 27th St. and Blackwelder Ave. Lunch will be provided with the keynote presentation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by an afternoon discussion from 1:00 to 3:00 that will include identifying needs for oilfield service companies and infrastructure opportunities in the developing Russian Federation oil and gas fields.
Alexey Khripunov, an expert in cross-border advisory services in M&A transactions with Russian companies, will join Elmar Sultanov, CEO of KTIB, to discuss the energy industry and oilfield service opportunities in Russia.
Khripunov is managing director at Iris Capital Partners and possesses over ten years of experience in business valuation, investment banking, transfer pricing and private equity. Prior to ICP, Alexey Khripunov was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey Investment Bank, a leading mid-level investment bank in the United States. His career track includes Deloitte and KPMG economic and valuation groups. During his career, Mr. Khripunov has provided investment banking and business advisory services to clients across a number of industries, including chemical, automotive, energy, manufacturing, electronics, information technology and financial and professional services.
Mr. Khripunov attained his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is fluent in English, Russian, Latvian, and conversational in German and Spanish.
