Meinders School of Business to offer Distance Education in Energy
This fall, Meinders School of Business will offer a new distance education format for the Master’s programs in Energy. The classes will feature a live-streaming, virtual lecture that allows the student to participate with their instructor and classmates without coming to the campus.
Students will be required to participate at the scheduled class time, so this is where the format differs from traditional online courses that allow students to log in at any time to complete school work. This format will allow students to connect with instructors, ask questions, and participate in real-time, all while building important connections with peers. Class meets just one night a week and coursework and video of the lecture can be accessed at any time after the class meets. The next cohort begins August 2013.
